La Meinl ha presentato i nuovi Meinl Travel Series Rope Tuned Djembes, disponibili con pelli sintetiche e naturali (Goat Skin). I djembè di questa serie sono stai pensati e disegnati per i professionisti, per i drum circles e per gli amatori. Questi strumenti risultano infatti più leggeri del 20% rispetto ai Djembè in fiberglass realizzati dalla Meinl, e sono perfetti per essere trasportati in qualsiasi situazione. Le pelli di capra selezionate a mano producono il suono tradizionale e le tonalità calde dei tamburi africani, che possiamo ritrovare anche nella versione con pelli sintetiche.
